“Seriously, no one has that much to say.”

Remember the days when Content Creators had to create content? Luckily most still do across platforms like YouTube and Instagram, but I'm also seeing the rise of automated content creation, which I find a little pointless.
Where I draw the line
Fair enough if you want to use AI to help you write your content, after all we're not all Ernest Hemingway or William Shakespeare, but you may have something that others would like to read about. It can also improve the experience for the reader if the story or article is written to a higher quality for better conciseness and clarity.
The volume problem
The reason I bring this up is the growing volume of what's known as “AI Slop”. This content can be churned out at a dizzying rate, especially with AI-created video getting better, technically, and less expensive. But there comes a point where it becomes pointless.
The YouTuber who let it go wild
There is one YouTuber, if you can call him that, who seems to have given over all of his content creation to AI. I looked at two platforms he's active on, or at least his avatar is, YouTube and LinkedIn. Counting his most recent posts on LinkedIn, I found seven of them, posted in just the last hour. Who even has time to read all that? He'd also posted sixteen YouTube videos in the previous 24 hours.
Seriously, no one has that much to say, and that's the problem, he doesn't. I can guarantee you AI comes up with the idea, the research, the script, the video creation, and then the posting to YouTube. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts he's never even watched or read most of what he's posted, who would have time to? Is he keeping up his engagement with followers? No, he's not engaging with them at all.
So what do you think?
