“How long before we start talking in quadrillions as being a lot of money?”

Are you going to jump on the Anthropic IPO?
Remember watching Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) when Dr. Evil asked for a $1 million ransom (a lot of money in 1967) before raising it to $100 billion? Now, nearly thirty years later, it feels like that all over again. We have the AI company Anthropic putting out a potential revenue opportunity at a $40 trillion (USD) market. In the 1960s a million was a lot, in the 1990s a billion was a lot, and now in the 2020s a trillion is a lot. How long before we start talking in quadrillions as being a lot of money?
Regarding the IPO itself, the irony about the Anthropic IPO is that the filing document is 400 pages long, and with the speed that information hits the internet these days, the only way to keep up is to use AI to summarise it for you. I’m no financial advisor, but I have to think the IPO will be exciting. My guess, though, is that it won’t be as risky as something like the Trump Crypto currency, which originally hit ~$75 and is now priced (at the time of writing) at $1.72, a fall of nearly 98%.
Interesting days ahead.
